Gardens of Grandeur & Grace: Virginia Woolf's Garden

If you bought, read and loved Caroline Zoob's recent book on Virginia and Leonard Woolf's garden at Monk's House, as I did, you may like to know that you can now stay at the Woolf's estate.

The garden studio, which is tucked behind Virginia's beloved bedroom, is available for garden lovers to stay in, thanks to a new initiative by the National Trust. There is a caretaker on the property, living above the main house, but the cottage is all yours.

The best part? When the tourists go and the gate is closed, the garden is all yours for the evening.
